Welcome to Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, Inc.

Based in Burke, Virginia, our organization provides fire and emergency medical services (equipment, station, and personnel) to our local community and all citizens of Fairfax County. 

This Spring, all of us at the station are recertifying to the new 2010 American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR protocols but we need your help too. 

Saving a life is a total team effort and we need you to take action when you recognize the need.  

Don't be afraid, doing CPR is very simple and you can use this video to practice the basic Hand-only CPR we need you to start before we arrive from the station.

We are known in some quarters as the fire station with the "green engines"  but this month we are also going "RED"
