Open Burning
Fairfax
County prohibits open burning, including leaf burning. This is in compliance
with the Air Pollution Control Ordinance. Controlled burning with special
incineration devices for land-clearing projects may be allowed, but requires
a permit issued jointly by the Department of Health and the Fire Marshal.
