Babysitter Safety
Plan Ahead! Parents often are very nervous leaving their children in the
care of someone else. With some planning and prevention you can feel much
more confident that your children will stay safe and the babysitter will
be prepared "just in case".
Educate the Babysitter!
We have designed a simple checklist that will help guide you through a
discussion with your babysitter to be sure all the important points are
covered. Everything from where the extinguishers are to who may be allowed
to visit (or not). Parents have found this to be a very valuable tool,
and it only takes about five minutes to go through with the babysitter.

We'd like to hear what you think of the cheklist. Send comments to fireteacher@cox.net
